OVERVIEW

Fudan University International Summer Session 2023 will provide a 4-week course study to students from all over the world. The program is now recruiting students from both China and abroad. Students will have the opportunity to get to know China and become part of the Fudan community. Fudan University's degree students will also participate in the program. This program will help you achieve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and get connected with peers from all over the world.

Offline Teaching:Fudan University

Online Teaching:Synchronously(Applicants DO NOT need to come to Shanghai)

Eligibility：

1. College students above 18 years of age with sufficient English proficiency.

2. And the general state of the applicant's health should be good enough for him/her to pursue the course of study at Fudan.

Application Deadline：

June 8, 2023 (Beijing Time)

Please note that：

1. You’re strongly recommended to first consult the Consulate General or Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in your country for information about visa application, and other matters; as well as the travel agency for air tickets before applying.

2. All round-trip air tickets, visa fees, accommodation fees, and other personal expenses are to be borne by yourself.

Fee：

Application Fee:CNY 400(online payment, non-refundable), only refundable when the program is totally cancelled.

Tuition:CNY 20,000(Note: Students from Fudan’s partners will receive a 10% discount for tuition if we are officially notified by partner universities.)

Shanghai Summer School Scholarship:

If you are a college student from 23 countries in North America, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, etc. (based on nationality and please consult the list of specific countries by email), you can apply for the Shanghai Summer School Scholarship which covers the application fee, the tuition fee and free on-campus dormitory for FISS 2023. Course：

- 27 content courses in History and Culture, Society and Politics, Business and Economy, Science and Technology, and Law

- 3 PE courses

- 3 levels of Chinese language courses (40 credit hours each, optional)

Course Selection Policy:

1. Each student can take up to 6 credits' content courses.

2. PE and Language courses are optional, and Language courses are only open to international students (non-Chinese citizens).

3. Courses may be cancelled if there are fewer than 5 students enrolled. Students will be notified about course cancellation before July 07, 2023.

Certificate of Completion：

After successful completion of the program, applicants will receive a certificate of completion and an official transcript issued by Fudan University.
